| Singer/songwriter,
Jenny Yates, began her career in music at age 14, playing clubs in
her hometown of Phoenix, Arizona. In the years since, she has
performed across the country from L.A.'s famed Troubadour to
Nashville's Bluebird Cafe to New York's Bitter End. |

In the last decade, she has focused primarily on writing songs in Nashville, New York and Los Angeles. A partial list of her co-writers includes J.D. Souther, Andrew Gold, Janis Ian, Eric Kaz, Keb' Mo', Mark Isham, and Garth Brooks - with whom she co-wrote a number of tunes including his hits "Standing Outside the Fire", "Thicker Than Blood", "The Red Strokes" and Golden Globe Nominated "When You Come Back To Me Again" from the movie Frequency.
Her
songs have been recorded by - Garth Brooks, Keb'Mo', Kathy Mattea, Bryndle, Ronnie Milsap, Eddie Rabbitt, Janis Ian, Dan Seals, Sammy Kershaw, Darden Smith, PFR, Deborah Holland, Greg Trooper, Anne McCue and others.
